No, alhamdulillah, I'm healthy.
Inshallah. Don't fret the PPI regimen tho, a month or two should significantly lessen the acid.i got an endoscopy and it was normal. still waiting for biopsy next week. I hope its that so I know what im dealing with.

did you find the underlying cause? or was it just acid reflux?Didn’t use any medication for it. Literally forced myself to eat and bare the pain. It went away

-Eat small portions of food rather than big portions.
-Don’t eat before bed, eat a few hours before you go to sleep.
-Avoid spicy foods, oily foods and fizzy drinks.
- ppi are good, but long term usage isn’t recommended. If the acid reflux is long term use meds, otherwise you’re at risk for cancer
IBS and functional dyspepsia are common and are caused by unknown reasons. They are usually diagnosed after other tests are negative.
I’m hoping to specialise in gastro so don’t feel afraid to ask more
