I used to but now I moved to another country and they don’t even allow self defence The criminal can actually press charges back and you the victim can end up in jail

The biggest problem of carrying guns in the US is if you have a concealed carry permit, every police officer knows you have a gun as soon as their radar catches your vehicle's plate number. And if they stop you, they already have the finger on the trigger.

There are also rules applicable to you such as if you have the pistol or the gun with you at the front, you gotta have the magazine in the trunk (back in the car).

So in my experience, I didn't bother getting a concealed carry permit. I just have it at home. Luckily, in our state, you're no longer required to obtain a concealed carry permit if you want to travel with your gun.
