Some of the instagram hate videos are not from tiktok. The white nationalist are using X to push their ideology, racism and misinformation. There's nothing much we can do but pray X gets the boot or it's resold to someone who is politically correct.

No one would give a rats ass about Somalis if many of them were not as awful and toxic. Just like you don’t want to be dehumanized neither do others. That shit makes me embarrassed.

If you weren’t Somali you would hate Somalis too. There’s nothing likeable that Somalis show the outside world.

I’m going to have to disagree with this respectfully; this hate train isn’t even new; it’s been happening ever since Somalis migrated to the West. No one saw it seriously and dealt with it back then, and now it’s continued. Even if there are nasty trolls that I condemn and that should be reported, they only affect a small minority. People are xenophobic to us regardless of the trolls or not; before 2019, videos like “Would you date a Somalian” would get 200k views and many likes. What did we do to these people then? Since when do Somalis have a history of being anti-black and racist to people irl? We definitely don’t. European people are racist asf, from Greeks to Hungarians, yet they never go through hate trains. If hate trains were proportionate to racism, then it shouldn’t even be our turn right now. There are other ethnic groups more deserving.

If you think the trolls started all this, I’ve got a bridge to sell you, we were always hated from the start, there was no internet back in the late 1990s and early 2000s but Somalis were attacked randomly

That was because we were refugees not somali. Not many people knew us until around 2006/2007 is when more somalis started to enter the uk is when people became familiar with us. I would say they started to know us to some extent 2004.

It’s the man job to defend our women’s honour and stand up for them when people disrespect them any insult towards them should be taken very serious and it’s the women job to comfort the men make us feel attractive and masculine like no other group of men can compete with us. The problem is both sides have been doing a very bad job of carrying out their jobs which is why things are the way they are now.

Man why do a lot of Somalis (especially the women) act like they have the privileges of white folks. It like a superiority complex almost, where they feel like they have to self depreciate themselves because of they're privileged and that they've have wronged others somehow.

Its even more hilarious because we have literarily all bad stereotypes (black,muslim) and they still act like this. You would think Somalis colonized half the world the way they beg.

not to be a qabilist but theres a certain qabiil up north that base their whole online presence on bashing somalia and somalis, and coincidentally they are the majority in the uk.
