Any reason Turkey hasn't provided Somalia armed drones?

I'm sure you all know Turkey has developed their own drones (Bayraktar TB2) which by all accounts has dramatically changed their battle against PKK insurgents, within a year of deploying their drones they've annihilated most PKK leaders.

I am very convinced armed drones is the closest thing to a 'silver bullet' the SNA/government can use against al shabaab. Anyone wonder why the Somali government hasn't requested any drones? I haven't seen any discussion or articles on this. I find it strange.

edit: OP could also be titled 'Any reason Somalia hasn't requested armed drones from Turkey?'

They haven't requested any because they know they won't receive it. The official story is that Somalia is under an arms embargo. However there are places with an arms embargo such as a side in Libya that received it from Turkey. So what is the difference? It's reliability. The hardware the SNA receives routinely goes missing or ends up in Shabaab hands. To receive such firepower you have to be viewed as a responsible actor.

Arms embargo.

Somalia’s arms embargo is tightly enforced as Somalia is already a heavily armed country.

Sometimes IC will let some imports slide but the feeling is there are too many arms in Somalia already.

The sna is very incompetent with no real leadership and fractured along qabiil lines. I hope the arms embargo is never lifted until we get real leadership.

AS has a chance of getting new tech if lifted. I think the new reforms are doing some good
