ID cards are issued by the States, and are a State level Power under the 2012 Federal Constitution. It is a power grab on the part of the Fed. gov't, for FGS has no Powers at that level, and is permitted to only issue Passports, and not IDs.

For PL to say citizens could potentially lose rights is a form of dictatorship. Simply say said IDs will not be recognised.

Nope, I live in the US and we don't have a national ID. Every state have their own IDs. If you mean a database where a state can check someone carrying an id from another state for warrants or identification, we can do that. That's ok.
