I work in London, but I think it's more or less the same ;

- Who you know in the industry and maintaining relationships will open up doors for you

- Reach out to Somali guys on Linkedin in your field/at other banks because they're helpful

- Think about the future and don't pick roles that are likely to be obsolete

- Be polite and socially involved but never forget your colleagues aren't your friends so be mindful of what you say.
