The issue with Somali restaurants is that it has canteen/cafetria style of service but they serve diner

Lool thats how I remember it. They make it up as they go. The service was terrible....some farax that just came to uk with no care fir hygiene. Forgets you if you dont chase them. The only positive is the prices are low. But then i went to indian restaurant the other day with great service. 70 pound for 3 people and the food was not better than somalis.

Because of the low prices, people will associate it with low quality. They act like a resturant is a cafetaria, while it should be classified as a restaurant.

At restaurants you should be welcomed and taken to your seat, in Somali restaurants you go directly to the counter like its some cafetaria

True....but end of the day food quality matters the most. Too many restaurants focus way to much on creating nice atmosphere and service and food is sh1t. But yeah i wouldnt take a date to somali restaurant lool. Im going to small heath in 10 min for my weekly bariis/basto dinner. Its always one ir the other lol

No chance. Solihull is on the edge of birmingham. Far from where somalis are...its white area. You will be lucky to see somalis there
