Most Somalis don't have that mindset when it comes to buying from Barwaanis or Reer Xamar establishments (as they are ethnic minorities outside of tribal tit-for-tats). However, some Somalis might not support each other because of qabil.

Tbh somalis open same shops next to each other. At one time we had 5 barbers in my area in the same street within 300 meters and 1 sudani. It was pressure for me as the sudani was the best but I knew one of the somalis well. So I used to come 10.30 am to the sudani before somalis open to get a hair cut
