I can't be the only one.

I want to memorize it again before I am 30 inshallah.

Not really you need to know how to pronounce the arabic text. Plus if i lost then i wouldnt be able to pick from where someone else is reciting

i completely memorized it twice in my teens but have forgotten most of it since. i remember the days where someone could pick an ayat at random and i could continue it without a problem. those days are long gone

I swear most of them sheikhs are more interested in beating their students than teaching Quraan and about the deen

I remember getting karbaashed to the tune of surat alshams with the end of every ayah being a whipping from 2 teachers at once.

All the girls used to use their biggest Jilbab as a shield . They used to grip two sides of the jilbab and make the macalin hit nothing but the middle but my main teacher was a maskiin raxanweyn guy. I need to send him some money soon.
