Oh btw @Nikeei this is a personal one of mine for the rice you don't have to add meat for this BUT add the normal ingredients AND add a dollop of sour cream to the side and trust me it is banging (also add a drizzle of sweet chilli sauce over the rice) and your set.

Rice doesn't originate from Somalia, but it's a Somali dish. It doesn't matter where it originated from, it's part of our culture.

Never tried corn grit Barawe style, and instead am more familiar with semolina, much better than rice and pasta, and would love to try it, perhaps in my next trip.
