Anxiety

It is a fear of the future.
How does one overcome it?

You don't know the future and you don't control the future therefore you should focus on the present.
Anxiety gets worse with overthinking you still need to focus on the present.

Non religious solution: Open your eyes to stop all thoughts. Look at anything and focus on the details of the subject. You will have no thoughts about anything since you are paying attention. In practice you would be paying attention to your surrounding and the people around you. Doing this stops overthinking and anxiety temporarily since you are forcing yourself to be present.

Religious solution: A bonus for the point above with the eyes is you will have it easier to be in khushuuc for your salah.
Long term solution for this problem is thikr. The kufar do daily manifestation to make their mind positive everyday. Allah gave us a free solution. Which is thikr. He said paraphrasing the ayah remembering Allah your heart will be at rest and if you forget Allah you will live a depressed life. If you forget Allah that means you are saying you don't need his help. You will leave your salah which is how it starts by leaving your daily protection.

Saying subhanallah, alhamdulilah, and Allahu akbar daily will help you. How do you practice this from a mental health aspect? If you see something surprising/beautiful say subhanallah. If you are in a tough position say Allahu Akbar Alllah is greater than your problems. If you are pleased with the things you have in your life say alhamdulilah.

Thikr will make you positive. Saying alhamdulilah is the most important one as it has been proven by therapists a person who practices gratitude will heal from anxiety and depression. Subhanallah Allah taught us what to say in order to be content in life and that is being grateful Alhamdulilah.
Anxiety is a fear of the future; do you know who owns the future? It is Allah don't worry about it only plan for it in the end you don't know what is yet to come so why be anxious of the unknown?
