It does make her look good, not only to locals but to diaspora people as well (see comments in the X post). Have you ever visited Somalia? You should. It is very common behaviour and will help explain why Somalia is still experiencing its civil war (1981-ongoing) and its status as the most hopeless country on Earth. It's also common in the west but less so due to the white man's expectations.

Many of you do not know this but Oromo Muslims (in Hararghe and Bale) once wanted to become apart Somalia and joined Somalis in revolts against the Ethiopian governnent. This was all before that Oromumma cancer that severed Oromo Muslims from Somalis and Hararis and led to attacks on Somalis and other Muslims. If we treat these Oromos well, they will have a deep appreciation of Somalia and drift away from Ethiopia including the highland and Borana Oromos whom they have little in common with anyways and reconnect with their Somali brothers

And besides, "Oromo" is vague linguistic identity that only came to existence in the 21st century. Before that, Oromos of different regions never saw themselves as one people. Highland Oromos aka Shewan Oromos related far more with Amhara/Tigrayans. Lowland Oromos aka Hararghe related far more with Somalis/Hararis and so on. You can literally see this with clans like the Jaarso that shapeshift between being Oromo or Somali when it benefits them. And don't get me started on clans like Gurgura that are literally Somali but happen to speak Oromo as well. Believing that all Oromos stick with their ethnicity is as silly as thinking All Arabs stick out for each others. Only delusional ethnonationalist movements like Oromumma tries to create a narrative of Oromos being one people.

Genetically they’re very heterogeneous however the political landscape within oromos is pro nationalism. jarso and gurgura are both very oromo shifted clans despite being somali by blood

Yall talk about orom treated bad what about our brother and sister in Ogaden. They are treated like xawan they are in open air prison. So f*ck the Orom. I hate the idea some of y'all have " oh they are Muslim we have to help them" dont get fooled by religion, these people are hear to see and report back the layout and defense. They will go door to door to know where are the military bases and hospitals and president residents. They are an invading people. Once you let them in they will never leave.
