Ataturk was a Muslim. There is much evidence for that. He just didn't believe it should be used for political means. Comments made by his family and foreign diplomats and his speeches are a few confirmations of his religious beliefs.

I don’t find Kemal Atatürk a bad person tbh. He just always fought for his own people and wanted the best for them.

Thanks to his sacrifice Turkey became such a powerful country in no time. He really brought an importance into their culture and roots wallahi. My Turkish friends are all mostly 3rd/4th generational Turks and they all are still connected to their roots, speak their languages fluently and always put their people first no matter the ethnically or religiously difference. I never met any other ethnic group as proud as them with who they are and where they descend from. And thanks to him, they can just read the Quran and learn the Quran in Turkish for a very long time.

Was he most likely not a Muslim? Yes, he isn’t even ethnically Türkic but Macedonian/Greek but he united all the Turkish people from different ethnically backgrounds, cultural roots, and religion and united them under 1 republic country known as Turkey today

Ataturk definitely didn’t like Islam.

in his book he referred Islam as “The religion of the Arabians” and “Muhammad’s (peace upon him) religion” astagfirullah.
