This guy’s father Yusuf Caynte is a member of Aala Sheekh. From 2009 to 2017 ala sheekh were extremely influential in politics they could bring wasiirs and choose pms. Farmaajo was brought forward by abdi door and yusuf caynte. But then in 2017 aalasheekh split and a group called daljir was formed with hassan macalin as the chair.

Daljir was the reason why hassan sheikh stepped down and sheikh sharif wasn’t supported In 2017. So they were responsible for farmaajo being pres as well. Farmaajo made Abdirahman caynte a senior advisor.

It’s an Islamic group that formed out of the sahwa in Somalia in the 70s and 80s. Mostly inspired by sh maxamed macalin AUN. After he passed away the xeer was taken over by an Abakar sheikh called sh axmed dhicisow. Sheikh sharif is aalasheekh so he was close to both maxamed macalin and dhicisow. Yusuf caynte is a close friend to ss. And a member of aalasheekh too. Sh yusuf Caynte was part of sheikh sharif’s ARS group in Djibouti back in 2009.

Another aalasheekh guy is farmaajo’s wife seynab macalin’s cousin abdi door. Hassan macalin and Xuseen macalin were also both aalasheekh.

Murusade have a whole deen xeer with them and had big pull in siyaasad cos of it. Rn though murusade is quite split in different camps which isn’t a bad thing btw. Some are upd/jsp like Hassan macalin and Xuseen macalin. Some are daljir like yusuf caynte, janaqow, hassan bariise, etc. Ngl though idk if daljir still exists cos it seems to be absorbed by upd fully now.

Kheyre is more in touch with the murusade business community instead of deen. Dr Yaxye cali hareeri, ismail gooni, abdi gaambe.
