This was a massive defeat for the kufaar, and a morale booster for the SNA. Both sides fight and win based on how their morale is. The SNA managed to withstand an all out assault, regrouped and inflicted a heavy defeat.

Losses were too high, but that is the fault of whoever built the defenses.
