I used to buy the narrative that black women were victimized by madow men (which is obviously true to an extent), but black women show their true colours at every opportunity.

I see that you're more willing to pay attention to the minority of black men than the majority. The black men that "make it" make up a small percentage of the overall demographic of black males, so you can't project their individual actions on to the majority.

I don't deny that there are immense social failings that black men are a big part of but you have to take into account the specific social and cultural setbacks that have led to it. As for some black men talking about black women being undesirable and ratchet, I can see why they think that. Have you ever encountered an angry black woman? They take a lot of patience to deal with, and if we're talking about the faults of black men why shouldn't we bring up the faults of black women? Are you saying that black women are faultless infallible angels?

Blaming the men of one's own culture does nothing but aggravate relations and shows ungratefulness, the men and women in a specific culture should be supportive of one another. Even Cadaan women who aren't known to appreciate their men often find some way of supporting them.

I'm from Indiana I live around 30 minutes drive away from Chicago, I had a sketchy experience going down there a few years back to go shopping, a car was following me on the road luckily I wasn't using my phone and was fully aware of the environment, I drove off into the highway speed back to my home as quickly as possible, my heart was racing, I was in full panic mode if I made one mistake by slowing down or not staying focused on the wheel I would of crashed, or got killed by them. I didn't even know why they were following me, I assuming they were trying to rob me.
