Like as the minister said on the very video you uploaded, somaliland does not bend the knee to anybody. They either buy the livestock or not but federal government has no say over the republic is somaliland and we always find other customers.

What you lot of haters don’t understand is that, Somaliland would rather starve and die before ever giving up our sovereignty again.

One problem with that though is most of the livestock shipped from Berbera port is from the K5 region of Ethiopia. So it is up to the livestock owners where they will ship it next (Bosaso, Djibouti etc) and not Sland.

Other regions of Somalia don't depend on livestock exports like Somaliland region does
specially south Somalia since it exports bananas and other fruits. So whenever livestock
ban happens it hurts Somaliland region economy the most.
