The difference is America is not targeting a single qabil under the pretence of fighting terrorism. Is not our neighbour neither are they claiming our sea, building illegal borders, destroying forests in bed with shabab to sell charcoal.

I have to be honest, it is embarrassing. Our people are not committed fighters anymore and we are just spread too thin. Most of our people have no issue leaving Galmudug moving to HG dominated areas in Mogadishu. Majority of my extended family have done exactly that. Till we are able to build a competent and united state with a unified paramilitary we will continue to be weak when it comes to security. We’re reliant on a Hawiye Presidency and American backing.
