no bro your completely wrong. Garre from Liben to Elwaq speak Affan Oromo, and the ones past elwaq speak af eelay. the Qoryole Garre Darrawa do speak af Darrawa which is a dialect of Maay yes you're right there.

Geri were not Somali Abo and had no involvement. and I never heard about the Abaaskul being somali abo but im pretty sure there is oromo in them let me double check Burtons book.
