Are you saying these poverty ridden and desperate orphans and displaced Somalis within Somalia don’t exist in 2019? The clan system is for those whose clans are powerful and are capable to feed them, but for others, life is the survival of the fittest. Hundreds will die of hunger and malnutrition as we chat here. Maybe your knowledge and the conditions of millions of Somalis requires updating. The poverty and desperation that exists today is immeasurable. Pay a visit back home and see how they live.

Sorry I dont trust caadans who are specifically looking to adopt black children its so sketchy. I asked my mom recently if she was denied citizenship and her kids were taken to canada and adopted during the war would she accept that? And she said that she'd rather they all die together and I completley understand her logic. The worst outcomes would be

•her child grow up gallo
• there could be sexual assault in the household by the father or sons
• theres alot of illegal rehoming where adopted kids from other countries are taken and illegally rehomed through the dark web

You are lucky because you got your mum and close relatives, but these kids lost both of their parents and have no one else to look after them. Can’t god guide the children back to Islam? This what Allah told Mohamed after he begged his polytheist uncle on his deathbed to take the shahaada but dismissed him. ‘Verily, you will not guide everyone whom you love, but Allah guides whom ‘He wills and He knows best those who will be guided’. Adoption, especially that from developing countries, can very much be an unwitting engagement in the human trafficking industry. It's very profitable for traffickers to essentially steal kids from their loving homes and charge naive Western parents tens of thousands of dollars.

There is nothing in this world more inhumane wallahi than stealing a child from their own mother.
