Waa anaga orodneey, nabad doonaney
Is there any sincere interest left in the unified Ethiopian identity after the recent invasion of the Tigray region? It seems to increasingly be an Amhara project. I wonder what the inevitable Amhara-Oromo conflict will do to Ethiopia as we know it.
It is a shame considering all the economic progress in recent years. Ethiopia could have been Africa's success story if it weren't for the unaddressed bloodshed at the hands of Amhara and Tigrayan leadership. Somalis weren't benefactors and may yet have something to gain from its downfall, so perhaps it's not so bad after all.
Is it unreasonable to claim that the Ethiopian nation state is now synonymous to Amhara imperialism?
