Why is there always a new conflict kicking off in Ethiopia? Who’s giving the green light for these conflicts? And why does it involve Oromos every time They’re fighting Amhara, Somali and Afar at the same time

I’m surprised Ethiopia has remained intact despite the major ethnic groups slaughtering eachother

Why is there always a new conflict kicking off in Ethiopia? Who’s giving the green light for these conflicts? And why does it involve Oromos every time They’re fighting Amhara, Somali and Afar at the same time

oromo aint fighting somali or afar. afar is fighting tplf and fighting issa somali clan.
oromo is fighting for its freedom while the govt is sending somali police, regular army, etc, all against them.

yes but who started the fight? not OLA, OLA is fighting abiy's govt, and out of desperation, abiy is sending everyone in the countries police to fight them.

the afar regional police will fight whoever abiy says to... it's not the same as fighting the afar as a nation, ya know?

edit: as you can see, those are regular oromo farmers, who picked up arms in self defense

Somali Liyuu are apart of Abiy's regime, ofcourse it would be a legitimate target for the rebel OLA. I don't believe there is any real beef between Somalis and Oromos.We have the same goal with our Oromo brothers, which is redefining the soul of this nation and moving it away from it's Amxaaro imperialist dominated path.A multicultural democratic Ethiopia!

Well OLA have attacked Somali region many times in the past without provocation. Even without being ordered to fight, they want to.

Ethnic tensions exist even without these groups involved. The hate on all sides is unreal

Depends, some Somalis view them as enemies and some don’t. That I agree with, I support Oromos in either dominating Ethiopia or splitting from it and destroying it.

I don’t understand why OLA view all Somalis the same though. Somali Liyuu don’t represent most of us.

Probably where the Jaarso & Akisho live, these groups even live in enclaves in Gabiley region of SL across the border from Fafaan.These two clans are Somalized Oromo clans.

Nah, they’re more like Oromized Somalis. They only became Oromo because of the harsh politics in the Somali region. Geri and Absame always gang up on them, heck Akisho were slaughtered by Liyuu for just trying to inaugurate a new Suldaan in their town a while back. I think even one of the Sacad Muse Suldaans from the Somali region was present.

They’re in the same boat as Gurgura and Hawiye clans who face the same from Ciise.
