A direct line could be added, including an extra line heading to Hobyo alongside the Indian Ocean, hitting multiple coastal towns, just imagine the sight of travelling along the Indian Ocean inside a train!

I don’t know who made this map, but if this was a prewar plan, then it makes sense as Mogadishu was the paramount Somali city with people from all over the country, and a person from Luuq would want a direct line to the capital more than one to another city.
