Walaahi, this is an outstanding documentary. Very informative. ALL REAM MEN are in prison. It is as if REAL MEN can't be control in the outside, so they are locked up like wild animals. So inhuman. One of the prisoner locked up since he was 13 years old. When this was filmed he was 38, a Muslim, his cell had a prayer mat. Europe Prison is more humane, These prisoners will die in prison.


I bet they will not go to hell in Aqero. They were tortured on Earth. They have paid for their sin of killing a human no doubt.

I know. in the documentary the 38 year old prisoner said a 19 new prisoner had a psychosis nervous break down and had to be taken to the psyche ward

u know what i have found out about life? Actually, first God is merciful. God created this world with perfect Mercy- even in this hardship earth.

However horrific your situation is in life-- there is something Positive you are getting out of it.

This man is now so educated, thanks to reading a lot, he had a lot of time. U see how eloquent he is? He sounds like he came out of a university. He is smarter than the zombie looking guards, the way he talks to them, lowering his head to talk to the guards who are not as assertive and woke like him ! Not to mention he became a muslim. Not mention he is shielded from the horror of the outside world. He has a shelter. A bed. A meal. Books to read. Place to exercise. And possibly a ticket to heaven.

In Australia going to prison and losing your freedom is your punishment, so they have a heavy focus on rehabilitation not 'another punishment' becuz u already being punished by losing your freedom. In America the system in place is to punish not rehabilitate. Even Trump saw the madness of the prison system and wanted reforms.

I agree. America is harsh tuff love type. Its like Saudia Arabia on the books. If u steal in Saudia- u get your hand chopped, but thank God they do not enforce it.

If America will remove the idea of you cant find a job with a criminal record, most criminal will resume back to normal life. The system is built to lock people up. U cant survive out there, so u r left with committing crime.

That's what I have argued about our system also, how do we stop the revolving door of criminals, when they are discriminated becuz of they're criminal record and can't secure a job, we still have that issue here like america and no-one is discussing it. Criminal record is another punishment for life, even god forgives, why can't humans?

I think @Periplus and @Nilotic and other Aussies will agree when I say this criticism of Australia. Our politics is run by a bunch of fossilized dinosaurs who do not change quick, they wait for america or uk to lead the way and copy after 30 years.

We had the white australia policy up untill 1975 and was forced to change by America as they had 'african american' military men who wud serve in their military and need to work out of Australian bases. Only South Africa was more behind and changed by 91, but we only changed 15 years before, where-as America was up to date by the 60s.

It will be another 30 years after we observe america prison reforms and review it and then will we update our criminal record laws in fear of being called 'inhumane' by the world, becuz this is essentially a double punishment on criminals.

The removal of guns from the street is a feet of an accomplishment i think. At least they have control of their fellow Australians. IN USA freedom is treasured, it is found in this country. They escaped England to be free in America.

Australia is a beautiful country. I would have loved to live there and not worry about Winter depression. here in Minnesota every winter, u develop Winter depression and fear of driving in snow. lol

Minimum Security Prison is like farm cottages here, medium security is condo living, and maximum prison is well real PRISON, but not to the extremes of America.

The judge will determine your classification once u found guilty which will determine what prison u go to. Level 1 up to 5. Below 3 classification u go to medium and level 1 is farm cottages. Level 5 is super max thats 23 hrs a day lock-down. Most serious crimes get a level 4 classification and that's maximum security. level 2-3 is medium security
