Once they get an election, it will look like any other african shithole. We need strong men in Africa!!
When I was approved by the UNHCR in India for resseltment to a third of country, I was given the option of 12 countries to choose.
Sxb believe it or not ,Guinea Bissau was the only African country on the list, so I am not realy surprised of Rwanda trying to get that Resseltment money from the west, Puntland should follow suit.

That's why Nations built on individuals always crumble whereas Nations built on institutions actually sustain themselves.
This is why dictatorships fail. Nations like China and Russia are institutional dictatorships that practically absorbed their previous governments. So they’re exceptions to the rule.
Russia is just a revamped Soviet Union.
Countries like North Korea or Syria or Cuba are practically monarchies in which the baton gets passed within families.

good point. i think zimbabwe is an exception to the rule. they were between a rock and a hard place. almost no one except for mugabe had the real balls to kick out the rhodesians.
But Africans are NOT Russians or Chinese. Africans are poor. Not to mention, naturally dumb. The concept of having institutions is impossible for an African, because at his core- he does not have the intelligence.

Mugabe had real Anakin Skywalker type rise to villain status. He got inaugurated on the promise of reconciliation, over a decade before Mandela said the same thing and slowly became more of a villain until it leaked in 2008 with the election and hyperinflation.

I don't see that as him becoming a villain; I see that as him opening his eyes to the reality of the humiliating situation and attempting to put an end to it.
Mugabe's sins included staying on for decades as a dictator; and destroying the economy. Doing what needed to be done was not one of those sins.
"Reconciliation" with outsiders (that occupied your land) is revolting.
Rwandans are so nice that they let a Somali run their nation.
