Bosaso can also do the same to Berbera since it has the most strategic location of entry/exit points of red sea and indian ocean, we can stop all the trade heading to the south and also stop the trade heading to djibouti-berbera.

All these ports, including berbera (which is foreignly funded) are all there to serve what? Livestock exports at best and to import a few vehicles?

Like any port of significance should be built around an industry or population that exists, like the area where oil is found offshore or the region where large activities like mining are done. Not the other way round where ppl scramble to build ports expecting development with its only ARGUABLE selling point being its location (key word 'arguable'). The whole of Somalia is in a good location, one isn't gonna trump the other purely of location alone.

Look at this, obviously no one is convinced by ppl screaming "goOd loCatioN" so look what you get. No business and an empty port.
