Everything between the Jubba and Tana, and the Indian ocean and the Dawa river is called Waamo clasically. Bounded by water on nearly every side except the stretch between where the Tana turns towards Mt Kenya and Moyale. Degodia came later, Ajuran and Garre were Boran sheegads

But do they still refer to their lands as Waamo? Only seen Daroods say that

only reason those lands are held by somalis is because degodia had the balls to recognize oromo were weak. those lands would still be oromo, if degodia didnt step in.
