People don't understand the complexities of Guerilla warfare, SNA's main goal is increasing man-power to elite units and the consolidation of large towns such as Janaan.

To echo a point I read on Reddit, the FGS is still building the administrative and security infrastructure to secure the territories it liberates. Farmaajo’s term has largely been about consolidation and professionalisation - paid civil servants, functioning institutions, anti-corruption measures (which have not been implemented anywhere else in Somalia), and a cadre of disciplined and trained soldiers. All this in preparation to begin liberating and subsequently governing the country.

Embarrassing assertion by "non-pirate Somali" Adam that the units involved with maintaining peace in Mogadishu were "amassed" there. Did it not occur to him that the most populous city in Somalia would have troops based there already?

It is clear to any non-biased observer that the SNA is actively fighting al-Shabaab. In the past month alone, those "Turkish trained mercenaries" have prevented a major terrorist attack from taking place and eliminated more than fifty al-Shabaab members, including two senior commanders, in the Lower Shabelle region.

Additionally, the SPF preventing "protestors" armed with technicals and assault rifles from breaking a police cordon is not the same as "attacking" unarmed protestors. The throng was dispersed without loss of life owing to the professionalism of Mogadishu police.

If lower-shabelle was Marehan, Gorgor serial killers would be babysitting 24/7. Same way the SNA is guarding them in Gedo. Farmajo thinks people can't see his obvious qabyaalad.
