Yazeed narrated to us, he said: Hamad ibn Salamah informed us, he said: Ali ibn Zaid narrated to us, he said: Saeed ibn Al-Musayyib reported to us, he said: Abu Hurairah narrated that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "The people of Paradise will enter Paradise naked, hairless, white, with their eyes anointed with kohl, aged thirty-three years, resembling the creation of Adam. They will be sixty arms length in height and seven arms length in width."
It’s very important for people to really understand what they are reading and especially so when giving translations. The Arabic language is like no other and therefore needs careful understanding, especially so for the translating and publishing of things.

If the arabs used red to describe non arabs who are white , then why did they use white to describe Arabs. The answer is in the statements of the scholars and the ahadith themselves.

It was very clear to the arabs and the scholars of the past that the arabs and the non arabs from Persia and Rome looked significantly different.

This should be clear for everyone to understand that white and red were used differently to describe different colours and signify different races of people.

Abu Tayyib Al Laghwi (350 AH) said in his book ,Book of opposites in the speech of the Arabs ( page 40)

”White is only used for people (to mean) being far from being impure and free from defects.”.

Ibn Mandour, the author of Lisan al Arab narrates from Al Azhari on page 209

x
“When the Arabs say that a man is white or a woman is white , they mean that he has a pure, clean, free from ugliness…

They don’t mean that he has a white complexion, but they mean that someone is honourable and pure and clean.

When they say that a person’s face is white, they mean that his complexion is free from marks and a type of blackness that is unattractive ”.

h

Al Thaa’lab is quoted in Lisan Al Arab, he said,

” The Arabs do not say a man is white to mean that he is white in colour. It is only said to mean that the person is pure and free from any defects.”

In Al Atheer said in Al Nihaayah Fee Ghareeb Al Hadeeth , Chapter 1 page 438

” When they intended to mean pure white they meant red, and in that saying is an error for verily they used the word abyadh (or white) in the colours of people and other than them”

What's quite amusing is that he's aware of the identity of the original Arabs before Persian influence. He recognizes that Uthman ibn Affan had kinky hair, and understands that the typical hair texture of the Arabs, including the Prophet, was indeed kinky. He's also cognizant of the fact that they maintained their hair in braids and locks.

Many of these self-proclaimed sheikhs seem to idolize the notion of whiteness. Given the opportunity, I would systematically challenge and expose their inconsistencies. My Somali brethren, when you acquire deep knowledge about Islam and certain obscured subjects, you feel empowered and gain a true appreciation for the faith.
The prophet had wavy hair not curly straight or kinky hair. That's specifically stated in the hadeeth and I'm not aware of any hadeeth that talks on the hair of uthman where did you get that from?

And all arabs back then and still today keep there hair in braid the purpose back then was to braid it when they travelled to keep it from being unkempt and to not wash it until they got to there destination. So they all wore it whether there hair was straight or not.

Did vikings also have kinky hair by your logic because they also wore there hair in braid and locks? What about women around the world that don't have kinky hair but wear there hair in braids???

I agree tho with one point people idolising whiteness is an issue but there is no need to be a hotep

HAIR OF THE ARABS VS HAIR OF THE AJAM

The hair type of an individual can usually indicate which race a person is. According to the Arab scholars of the past, this was one of the factors that drew apart the Arab and non Arab race.

Ibn Qutaibah Ibn Jawaaliqy the author of Sharh Adab Al Kitaab said, ” Kinky/wooly hair is from the Arabs and lank/straight hair is from the Ajam. … lank/ straight hair is most prevalent amongst the non Arabs of Rome and Faaris(Persia) and kinky / wooly hair is most prevalent amongst the Arabs.”

In Al Faaiq fee Ghareeb AlHadeeth page 444 , Abu AQaasim Mhmood ibn Umar Al Zamkashri ( 467) he says, ”The predominant hair texture type amongst the Arabs is wooly hairand amongst the non Arabs is lank hair.”
l
Ibn Mandhoor , author of Lisaan Al Arab reiterates this in his book in chapter 3 page 122 .
” Wooly hair is other than lank hair: because lank hair is most dominant in the hair of the non Arabs from Rome and Persia, And kinky hair is most dominant amongst the Arabs”

Narration of Umm Salamah Hadith 603 in the Ibn Maajah
I said, ”O Messenger of Allah! I am a woman with tightly braided hair, should I undo them when I take a bath to cleanse myself from the state of sexual impurity?” He said: “Rather it is sufficient for you to pour three handfuls of water over them, then pour water over yourself, and you will be purified,” or he said: “In that case you would have become purified.”
It is inconceivable for anyone to believe that Umm Salamah (May Allah be pleased with her) , had lank hair from this narration as lank hair, when tightly braided would undo at the slightest touch of water or when running hands through it. She would not have asked this question if she had lank hair.

Narration about Aamir – Ibn Tareekh At Tabary , Chapter 3 page 519
”And he was the hairiest of the Arabs . He used his clam straps as a turban and had four braids on his head that were erect as if they were goats horns.”
It is not possible for anyone with lank hair to do this without the use of chemical aids.

Idrus your clown-
This individual, who is evidently a Beginner in Cushitic theory and larper, always seems to dismiss Sahih Hadiths and Islamic facts with laughter. These include acknowledged details by scholars about the description of original Arabs, along with the Prophet's prophecy and the associated sign of Judgment Day, concerning the genetic and religious inheritance of the Persians.

I invite you to engage in a debate where we can explore the nuances of 'Somalinimo' and gain a deeper understanding of what 'Cush' truly represents.
I wouldn't be surprised if he lacks formal training in the study of Hadiths or Islamic history.
This nigga

It’s always extremist Muslims who love to beg being arab.

I don't think the Sheikh had bad intentions. The man in the tweet says he already knows the authentic dua in Arabic. I think this is the ones he's talking about, me personally I would just read it in Arabic.

he doesn't has the right to give his opinion in a clear matter like that. He said that their dua will be accepted if it was in arabic, as if he knows the best way to allah approval or what may or may not allah will accept.

Most Arabs worship whiteness. There have always been problematic sheikhs/scholars, I mean just look at how Ibn Taymiyyah is low-key an Arab supremacist. Let me tag you in a different thread. Read this.
:sass2:
Are you trying to say Ibn Taymiyyah is problematic?

Interested

Quite the Islamist.

I agree with Ibn Taymiyyah's view, that speaking in a language other than Arabic can lead to hypocrisy. InshaAllah we all learn Arabic, it is the language of the Quran before anything else and that of the prophet(saw). Imagine being dependent on translations throughout your lifetime. This is what Somalia's Imam says

Imaam al-Shaafi'ee (rahimahullaah) said, (as occurs in Irshaad al-Fuhool, p. 421): "It is obligatory upon every Muslim to learn from the Arabic language what allows him to make effort in fulfilling his obligations."

Ok and what does that have to do with this?
i wont conform to your narrow view, lol, takfiring random shiekhs out of context.
im sure you're aware of those who put read the quran in somali or do the adhan. every extreme has its counter extreme. the shiekh isnt wrong

:mjlol:
Your the narrow minded one for purposely misunderstanding what I said. Nobody is mentioning the adhan or quran, this is about duas.

Assim is of Indonesian descent but he’s a Saudi citizen who’s grandfather moved to Saudi so he isn’t really larping.
To be honest, I couldn't care less that the whole country of Saudi Arabia, including the royal family, is made up of Persian slaves and Roman descendants who were arabised and assimilated; they have no connection to the prophet or the original Arabs other than language. The way they seem now is a fulfilment of prophecy and a portent of the coming day of judgement. My imaan multiplied by a thousand when I discovered the hidden realities of Islam in Egypt.
