I 100% doubt Somalis drink more than Iranians and North Africans.Tunisians and Iranians are both known for their wine

Hopefully y'all know that, Somalis often cross into Ethiopia (and Djibouti), just to get hands on liquor, from consumption to smuggling back home.

Most stats about Somalia are false or approximates combination of Ethiopia and Kenya

I'm always gobsmacked at the fact that 1000s of liquor (ethiopian gin) bottles are captured and posted on the news every month or so by the regional police from the Northern regions. Makes you wonder, why is there such a large demand and who is drinking all that shit

As far as consumption, it's mostly done in people's private homes as its frowned upon, even among Somalis inside Ethiopia, where it's completely legal.
You think the same Somalis who consumes qaat en masse, will have second doubts about taking xabad qaboob?
FYI, I don't drink, I'm completely nadiif. Laakin it ain't a secret there either.

What is stopping a khat chewer from drinking Alcohol? They're both intoxicants and both are 'drugs'.
