Albanians are okay. They are skimmed cadaan, not fish and chips cadaan. They're like half or more ancient Greekoid which is mostly ancient MENA in it's genetic makeup, then they're Muslims and used to be a key part of the Ottoman empire. Muhammad Ali, the father of modern Egypt, was an Albanian Ottoman governor. I say we grant Albanians at least observer status in the non-white league in light of these facts.

A lot of Albanian people I’ve seen don’t look proper white which confused me, so they’re half MENA? I mean they look whiter than Syrians or Lebanese people but they don’t look as white as Southern Europeans. Also they’re not really Muslims anymore, they are even more secular than turks and persians.

They and other Balkanites are heavily descended from pre-Slavic Balkanites who basically look to have resembled bronze-age and classical Greeks. Bronze-age and classical Greeks were basically mostly Anatolian farmer and Chalcolithic-Iranian (≥70%) with some native Balkan hunter-gatherer and Indo-European steppe ancestry. This is why they and actual South Slavs like Macedonians don't basically look like straight Polish people despite the ancestors of South Slavs migrating heavily from the north and genetically affecting Greeks and Albanians quite significantly as well. There was a pre-Slavic Mediterranean element all over the Balkans that makes them look more southern and brown than their northern neighbors and is the causation behind why they cluster south of whites like Germans, Poles and Brits. And before the earliest Indo-European migrations into the Balkans the place would have basically just been a genetic extension of Anatolia (Turkey) with noticeable but far outstripped Balkan/European hunter-gatherer.
