I just posted a source showing that the vast majority of the religious council of Somaliland is Al Itihad. Including the son of the founder of Al Itihad.

Fahad Yasin is not a terrorist and has never been associated with terrorism, that’s just baseless propaganda. He is from Gedo and his step father that raised him died fighting Ethiopians for Al Itihad in Gedo. His senior terrorist sheikh shariff was rewarded with presidential position, and deputy Alshabaab founder Ahmed madoobe geedonaar was given state leader, if terrorists like Mahad salad, Atam, Sakariye, koofi, farxan qaroole and many more can be appointed.
