Is salafi the same as Wahabi? sorry for the ignorance where am from there is Islam and there is Wahabism.

Wahabisim came from Ibn Wahabb and does not want any modern influence to islam however salafism wants to revive islam in modern times. However, wahabbis call themselves Salafis as well. Mainstream Sunni Muslims call them Khazarijites which was an extremist group that killed Ali(RA).
