Probably most are just gonna get hooked on this, be given UBI and just never leave their rooms with infinite customizable entertainment. It's gonna get pretty bad, society is starting to move into a neofeudal directionInteresting. We can now do art, music and even produce a whole episode of a show all by using ai. I wonder how the world of entertainment would look like in the future. This reminds of the funny ai twitch stream.
AI will reach a point when it can manage and optimize most types of labour, making working for a wage obsolete. Then we'll have true opulent communism. Most are just gonna get hooked on this and never leave their rooms. It's gonna get bad, society is starting to move into a neofeudal direction
Maybe in like Israel/Norway/Singapore but I can't see US/Brazil having that level of redistribution IMO, too big/diverse + elites there hate their proles. I think they'll just run a dystopian caste system.AI will reach a point when it can manage and optimize most types of labour, making working for a wage obsolete. Society is inherently volatile and susceptible to turbulence much like the economic situation in the world, the covid pandemic and the ukrain war. As one man once said the only constant is change. I doubt society we'll ever transition into a state where humans become irrelevant, japan have been trying to combat the decreeing of their population by investing into automation and robotic to keep up their economic engine but nothing have changed. Overall as you said a transition much like the industrial revolution would happen and the nature of jobs would probably change again. That's for every technological revolution in history. I
