The ongoing Galmudug war is going very well according to the plan, almost all of Mudug except Caad which will fall this week and 70% of Galgaduud is free from Alshabaab, the new estimated time for a fully liberated in Galmudug is now estimated to be August 2024 by USA and SFG.

As everyone have noticed that it's Election season and things are now political and SFG are 100% focused on removing Laftagareen and QQ in the following months starting first with laftagareen, while HGs are busy bringing in new President for Galmudug in the next 2-3 months time and also it's rainy season no fast vehicle can travel through the mud (dhiiqo), so the only ones able to fight in this rainy season are macawisley which is now being mobilized to hold the areas a gains made by HG militias.

Also Danab got send back for retraining, while Gorgor is being restructured as we speak removing the cancer Farmaajo installed within.

In summary, the Alshabaab war has has stopped until both Laftagareen and QQ are replaced in the following months, thus in meantime local macawisley will be fully armed and stationed to hold the liberated lands while in the meantime Danab and Gorgor rest, regroup and retrain.

I personally believe laftagareen has a solid chance of being reelected if HSM doesn't interfere with the elections. He has big support in Baidoa and many of the KGS people have realised that the Mucaarad are weak and lack power.
