Agreed upon military alliance pact between Somalia-Egypt to be unveiled soon in Cairo

I would like to clarify that this isn't a military partnership deal which are often less formal than a military alliance and doesn't include the promise that each nation will support the other in times of armed conflict. Egypt will be required to assist Somalia in case of an attack from a foreign adversary. This military alliance pact will reportedly give Egypt three military bases in differing regions in Somalia. This report first mentions north Galgaduud (Cabudwaaq district) and two regions surrounding Banadir which would be Sh/Dheexe and Sh/Hoose. Recruitment of further SNA soliders to be trained by Egypt is already underway, which this report mentioned they will be conscripted mostly from Galmudug (21st sector of the SNA) and eventually settled in North Galgaduud near the border with DDS region in Ethiopia.

Egypt (in unison with partnerning nations such as the US i'm assuming) is also under this agreement expected to ship an estimated 100 million dollars of weapons to Somalia; with these weapons mostly falling under Danab troops trained in the US Balidoogle who are from the clan of Gurguurte.

Lastly, Gurguurte is reportedly vying for Egypt to replace Ethiopia in the ATMIS mission. Egypt had in the past applied to join AMISOM twice.

In that video He said we’re giving ethiopia “4 ports to trade through”, they were being waived of any fees to recieve imports and in exchange ethiopia would build two roads linking both capitals for economic growth and to attract foreign investment. This is far from giving them ports if they’re still Somali owned. And it’s actually a pretty good deal which would generate a lot of foreign relations for Somalia. It would've been our first major move as a “gateway to Africa”. And “giving Ethiopia 4 ports to trade through” doesn’t mean the same thing as “giving Ethiopia 4 ports”. It’s up to your interpretation.

Give proof of 4 ports. Ethiopia has yet to mention a deal of such magnitude, and they would immediately ratified this gracious deal if so.

Hassan has no deals of this magnitude.

Hassan type of deal: new african troops to come to Somalia, new Egyptian bases to be built in Somalia, 5 new Danab bases to be built (the only good one), etc. if he made a deal with turkey it would be something along the lines of “Hassan allows turkey to built 3 new bases and extract our resources”. Or “Hassan gives control of Somali airspace to qatar and also gives them 10% of our gas”.

The issue has never been giving Ethiopia access to ports, I would even waive taxes to encourage trade between us, this gives us a huge leverage against them they would never accept.

More foreign meddling isn't the solution but if Egypt is willing to send 100 million dollars worth of weaponry and more than it's not so bad I suppose. The three military bases is overkill though.
