I first meet a east african during my final years of middle school, she seemed like someone worth befriending, up until she found out I was somalia, after that she turned hostile, now I have this reaction for every ethiopian, man or woman.

Horn Africans seem to gravitate towards each other here in the UK. In my college , we had a carribean , a Central African and an a funny Ethiopian fellow in a large Somali Somali posse .

Alot of the Ethiopians I have met are really weird when it comes to Somali's...They throw a lot of shade and look down on us for some reason. I had one good Ethiopian friend, I think she was Oromo or Afar but thats it.

Those comments weren't directed to me but Somali's in general. They were making fun of us and clutching their pearls when people would point out that we're similar.
