This shows a clear failure of langauge policy.

Steps somali needs to take
1. Standardise somali
2. Remodify the latin script which is crucial for the modern world.
3. Enforce English like Singapore or Hong Kong, since majority of the science publications is written in English. More than 70%.

Not Really. It shows Africans are primitive and pure at the same time. They did not mix with outside nations for they language to be mixed and contaminated. But Egypt is an exception tho. Its an old civilization, possibly influencing Africa and the world.

I agree with steps 1 and 2 but the 3rd option is bit too far. English should be taught definitely but whats important is creating and supporting our institutions.

Im not sure how you have connected the language policy with the failure of twitter to limit disinformation and hate speech on its platform. The article also doesn’t show how african languages are inferior.

English loanwords in Somali sound cringe. Arabic loanwords in Somali sound less cringe as Arabic sounds a bit more like Somali.

I detest words like Buug and Baluug, lmao, cringe.
