So true. Vox report about American trained Danab has shown they're barely a notch above tribal militia and Danab is supposed the be a high end special forces unit.

Turkey has air lifted Somali soldiers to Isparta and they came back looking like a real proper army. We have not yet seen them in action but I have more faith in Turkey than US/EU.


They had 20 years to train a capable SNA but they rather throw money at corrupt FGS and AMISOM mercenaries.

Regarding the topic it is rather clear whatever happens Ethiopian & Kenyan sectors numbering 9k troops + ENDF & KDF own forces which are not under the payroll of AMISOM will remain in Somalia for the forcible future.


The real question is, can SNA replace AMISOM sectors operations in Banadir, Galgaduud، the two Shabelle's & Hiraan?
