I was reading about Benito Mussolinia couple weeks back as the average guy does and his views on race was interesting. I think he was pushed to extremism by hitler.

I don’t understand why people can’t analyse history from an non-emotional standpoint.

Its either i villainise him or idolise him there is no inbetween for you people.

Obviously he has committed atrocities I haven’t denied that. I was trying to understand where his beliefs came from.

Here is a tip from me, if you cant look at historical events and characters from an non bias perspective then don’t delve into history because you will find a sea of sinners.

You realise in the pre war period Hitler actually marketed himself as a pacifist.
When asked by reporters about the violent nature of his book mien Kampf which details hatred of the french, plans to genocide and enslave the Slavs of eastern Europe. And kill the Jews. Hitler always responded that he was a "changed man" and a politician now and he wrote that stuff when he was a young lonely lad.

His book was banned to be published and translated into French and other languages cause he feared if his plans got out it would ruin it. But at the time most either believed he was a stupid crazy man and treated him much like we treated trump. And some even saw him as a pacifist of a new post war Europe.
Couple years later he did exactly what he wrote.
