It’s good that you mentioned Rwanda because they did transform for the better but their gimmick/selling point on social media is that rwanda is the Singapore of Africa and Kigali is the cleanest city in Africa. Before that we need to have something that is PR worthy. Somaliland’s whole PR gimmick is we are “peaceful” compared to the rest of Somalia while Ethiopias PR gimmick is that they have “never” been colonised . Of course neither one of those statements are true .Somaliland’s government murdered a bunch of innocent civilians last year and Ethiopia was indeed occupied by Italy . But anyways as for us having a PR gimmick i reckon that is going to be tough because Somalia already has a label on it . By that I mean we have already been labelled a dangerous shithole country lol. That label will persist until we get rid of the Dangerous(AS) and the shithole(poor country aesthetic) parts . In other words once AS leaves and Somalia looks like Dubai then we might get rid of that label and rebrand ourselves. Shit even Saudi till this day is looked at like some kind of medieval barbaric place even though they have modernised tremendously.
