If that's the question defo Maay. Maay has a lot more poetry and literature then Maxaa tiri. Most of the somali Maah maahs actually originate from Af Maay and have been translated to Maxaa. This isnt even my words, this is according to Abwaan Xadraawi Aun.

Also Maay has a much more wider vocab then Maxaa tiri. It's just that Maay has been neglected by the previous government and no resources has been dedicated to studying and developing the language.
