I honestly don’t think so.Have you ever been held back by your name while searching for a job?
My name is common, so I don’t have this issue. That’s why you get into tech they gonna think you’re a Indianjust practice your little head shake Indians do when they are talking. Don’t wear deodorant or cologne . Use excessive amount of hair gel .
I know this can work because there was some Indian guy who pretended to be black so he can get Accepted into the school he wantedhe finessed Affirmative Action which was created by whites to appease the blacks. They get into schools easier just for being black.
If that Indian did it you can do it in reverse . Don’t think about your name, think about your ethnicity and which ethnicity it benefits you to pretend to be .
I once applied for a job with the name Faarax Gusdheere. Unfortunately, the HR lady who took my interview on the phone was a somali xalimo. Within a few seconds after I confirmed my name, she asked to put me on hold for a few minutes. She came back after 3 minutes and said: "Sorry sir but the job is taken, no point in doing the interview now. If a position comes up in the future, we will let you know."
