The problem is our politicians will never admit this. They'll talk somalinimo in public while plotting to kill their political opponents in private.

Yariisow was competent that was his biggest downfall. He was repossessing government owned land Hassan Sheikh was selling off to his cronies and he was incorruptible.

Competent or not, the president appoints the Banadir Governor and can fire him. These conspiracy theorists make no sense, why blow him up and bring negative attention to your admins when you can simply replace him? Unless the 68IQ dropped significantly lately, i dont see why. I don't believe the bullshit that the president or prime minister killed him, that's crazy however the fact that they were hired and spent almost a year in his office shows it's an inside job. The question is why did they take so long? I agree with you it was most likely al Shabaab and the reason they took so long was for psychological reasons and to cause paranoia.

I saw videos of the lady. She was twice her normal size sitting at the meeting. She also requested not to be searched leading up to the attack. There were many red flags but were all ignored and not treated with suspicion and due care. Any person who wants Somalia, in particular Xamar on its feet is a potential victim either by inside operatives or al-shabaab. There are many players and the only victims are the honest and hardworking ppl like Yariisow.

Its well known that there are al shabab members who are in the Government, even their names are known. Why hasnt anything been done about it? There's not even an internal investigation going on about this attack.

Either they are too weak to clean up their own office or they are turning a blind eye to it. Both cases are unforgivable
