So long as nothing is damaged. I'm sure once uncovered it will give us clues to the migration of T-BY181210 into the North and Northwest part of the Somali speaking regions.
I don't know if we'll ever have a clear idea of how things happened. What worries me most is the safety of this fragile heritage we have. Sadly, people are not made aware of how much harm they can cause. Over the last two centuries, we've already seen a lot of looting at cairns and grave sites that were visible on the surface.
If locations are now shared and people are told about the potential value of what sits underneath, whether financial or historical, it will only embolden the caqli lix sac to start digging and doing whatever they want...
I already came across a crazy guy in SL, claiming to be an archeologist (lmao). He's gathered a whole team and roams around the Sheikh mountains...
Idk if SL even has a ministry of Culture but the authorities have to steo in and issue actual permits to people worthy of it, people with genuine qualifications, lol...

Reer Awdal youngsters discover never before seen underground complexes in the ruined town of Abasa, Awdal. Took 3 months and now Adal Heritage will uncover more hidden gems.
Only archeologists should touch these ruins, anyone else should stay away

You're absolutely right. Imagine destroying ancient artefacts accidently. Needs to be preserved

They need to be paid not to dig and just protect the site 24/7; an accredited archaeologist needs to be doing the work and documenting everything.
