Abortion is only allowed under certain conditions. You are not allowed to kill kids out of fear of poverty..or that you are not 'ready' ( main reasons for abortion today)

I think it is only allowed,in exceptional cases like if the pregnancy/giving birth endangers the mothers life and other cases I can't list now

And the abortion in some of those exceptional cases has to be done when the featus hasn't reached certain amount of weeks ( 4 months?), I don't know if this applies to the case of the endangered mother

Some madhab deem it completely Haram.
