Abdullahi Tarabi’s Brother On Trial

Rapper tracked down and shot dead in 'revenge attack after murder acquittal'

Tamba Momodu, a rapper known as Teerose, was brutally shot dead in what prosecutors have described as a revenge attack following his acquittal for murder. He was killed on October 13, 2020, after being shot six times at point-blank range with a powerful 9mm handgun while sitting in a parked car outside a gym in Telford, Shropshire.

Momodu had moved to Telford(3 hour drive from London) from north London in 2018 with his family, hoping to start a new life. His relocation followed his acquittal at the Old Bailey for the murder of 19-year-old Abdullahi Tarabi, known as Teewiz. Tarabi had been stabbed to death in an alleyway in Northolt in April 2017.

Despite being cleared in court, Momodu was allegedly stalked and eventually tracked down by members of Tarabi’s family—specifically his older brother Mahamud Tarabi, 32, and cousin Ahmed Karshe, 30—who were determined to take revenge. According to prosecutors, the men discovered Momodu’s new address after he was jailed in October 2019 for possession with intent to supply drugs, which led to his location being published in the press.

On what was reportedly their 16th trip to Telford, the group finally found and ambushed Momodu. He had been sitting in the passenger seat of a friend’s Renault Megane in the car park of Bridges Business Park in Horsehay, just outside the Fitness Factory gym, when he was attacked. Unbeknownst to him or his friends, their car had been parked beside a Skoda Karoq with false number plates. The vehicle had been stolen from London in July 2020 and contained at least two individuals wearing high-visibility tabards. One of them exited the vehicle and opened fire, with bullets passing through Momodu’s back, neck, heart, and left lung.

Mahamud Tarabi, of Whiteleys Parade in Hillingdon, London; Ahmed Karshe, of no fixed address; Deria Hassan, 32, of Ferrymead Avenue in Greenford, London; and Merje Ngoy, 24, also of no fixed address, are all currently on trial for the murder of Tamba Momodu. All four deny the charge.

In addition, Hussain—whose full details were not provided—has pleaded guilty to a separate charge of arson. The other three defendants deny involvement in the same arson charge.

All four accused appeared in the dock at Stafford Crown Court on Monday, listening to proceedings through headphones and flanked by three dock officers. The trial is expected to last at least eight weeks and is currently ongoing.

Only on trial now. that’s slow
Inshallah they don't get sentenced. I remember whole of UK saying diss verses on teewizz and not feeling sorry for his mum even white nerds, some Jamaican kid in secondary used to mention it too me as if I was related too him but according to these people since hes a Somali pack It should get a reaction out of me.

In the End it wasn't Tarabi who got 4 bells to his head.
