DR OSMAN

Very interesting. I am watching it now

PS - 9:53 listen carefully to him at that mark. Where he tells you he produced academic research papers and then says 'kuwa garanayo academia culture' ba fahmayo which ME not YOU cuz you don't even know the scientific method or check n balances of peer reviews of academia or where to read your knowledge is journals or ancient documents or political books but you can only cite that in your research paper not MAKE IT A FACT. Your data sources and your analysis is what is weighed up in academia and how strong it is against previous research. That's why u need a objective and critical mind and inquistive mind to test the data source your citing in your research.

I am not sure if I am going to do a PHD, it depends in the future but I know academia culture waryaa and I found this forum lacks even the cultural knowledge of academia which is why I am repeating this point cause it's scary that we are large nation and our brain power is limited to abdiweli, abdiqawi, and in the future the DR OSMAN. We need more in our nation, u cant rely on osman mahmoud for the rest of your lives, we need to create more osman mahmouds inside other clans.

I am satisfied with finishing a masters while learning Somali culture and assisting my clan to clan build.

I haven't watched the video since it's too long. I might watch it tomorrow.

It's pretty hard to make sense of your ramblings sometimes. But yes, you are right about researchers having their work reviewed before publication. Draft copies go to the intended journal, after which they are reviewed by moderators that have expertise in that particular field. They will make comments and then talk about the value of the research. If they are happy with it overall it will be published with few modifications. It's an definitely a huge achievement to have several publications in reputable peer reviewed journals.
