Using such examples should be stopped entirely, there are better ways to explain it. I’m sure you’ve heard the 'mother' example before as well. Many younger audiences, in particular, don’t need to hear such examples. We understand the point he is trying to make, but the method he is using is flawed and does more harm than good. It provides diin haters with an easy opportunity to depict the religion inaccurately. It's too easy for diin haters to edit these types of vids, and post them without context, leading others to jump to unfounded conclusions. I hope examples like these are retired soon. Many dawah guys are doing great work, may Allah reward them for it, but some need better training. This is propaganda ammunition galore for dadka diinta neceb
First of all, the Sheikh is wrong to speak for what Allaah's swt accepts and denies. Thats the first mistake.
But generally his point is- believer is better than a non believer. A believer who prays is better than a believer who does not pray!
Thats the point. This sheikh is a bit emotional and reactionary for my taste. That is why i only follow Doctor Yasir Qadhi. His College degree and style of talking makes me soothed. (i cant listen to Black sheikhs or Somali Sheikhs- Allaah swt forgive my prejudice) And recently i learnt he is 5'6 tall. Same height as Napoleon.
Now that is what i call non threatening favorite sheikh. (He has lost alot of weight by the way)
