Given your disbelief, I imagine you wouldn't divorce your hypothetical husband over something like this, but would you not think less of him? I agree that a sole incident like this is very unlikely to lead to a divorce in the real world. Most women I think would not be happy with the outcome of that particular scenario, but it would hardly define enough of their relationship to make it cease.
